The text of this section Protocolos reads as follows:  "un terreno de labor sito en Butuanon
comprencion del referido pueblo [Mandaue] de seis gantas de siembra de mais confinante por
Norte con el de Jorge Peres y mide dosceintas treinta y ocho brasas y tres palmos, por
Sur y Este con los de Don Hilario Cenisa y ciento veinte y seis brasas y siete palmos y veinte y
cuatro brasas y siete palmos y por Oeste con la calsada de cincuenta..."
This reads:  "a work land sited in Butuanon belonging to the town referred to [Mandaue] of
six kilo sowing of corn bordered on the North by that of Jorge Perez and measuring 238
brazas and 3 palmos [about 397 meters and 60 centimeters], on the South and East by those of
Don Hilario Ceniza and 126 brazas and 7 palmos [about 124 meters and 141 centimeters] and 24
brazas and 7 palmos [about 40 meters and 141 centimeters] and in the West by the road of 40..."
