Filomena Seno was born about 18873 the daughter of Gabriel Seno and Isabel del Castillo. On July 10, 1907, she married Pio Cortes, son of Marcelina Cortes3. Filomena and Pio had nine children.
As related by Diosdado Suico, Filomena and Pio, along with several members of their family, were found hiding in a tunnel and killed by the Japanese during World War II14.

| viii. | Benigno Cortes | Benigno was born November 20, 19263. |
| xi. | Helen Cortes | Helen was born March 21, 19293. |
