Above is a composite image from the passenger list of the Samuel Fox showing the top portion of the first page and a section from a later page where Anna and Mickel Zöhler are listed. Anna and Mickel were passengers 98 and 99.
In submitting his passenger list, the captain indicates the ship arrived on April 23, 1855. However, the Maritime Intelligence section of the New York Times, seen below, states that the Samuel Fox was towed into quarantine on April 21, 1955. Only after passing quarantine was the ship allowed to disembark passengers.
